How do progressive voters select a party?
LINKS23.nl is an initiative of QUMUP-research aimed at gaining more insight into explanatory factors for voting behaviour among progressive voters in parliamentary elections. The research is conducted via a questionnaire available on this website. This questionnaire can be completed after creating a free participant account.

The survey also includes polls on the popularity of propositions formulated by the research editors, or 'opinions' related to various current political issues. This makes it possible to see to what extent a participant's opinion on an individual opinion determines the voting behaviour of progressive voters in relation to the party programmes of progressive parties.

To ensure that no issues are overlooked, participants in the survey can also submit their own statements or 'opinions' to the website, which can then be commented on by other participants. In this way, relevant and potentially unforeseen non-survey-driven additional information is created. The use of open questions in the questionnaire also collects as much information as possible that can shed light on voter behaviour.

Because it is all about content, this website not only provides the necessary information about political parties' election programmes, but also a lot of policy information from the government, supplemented with relevant research results from research organisations such as CBS, SCP and CPB.
